New Order Sports: A Sports Brand Built With Purpose

When we started New Order Sports, the idea was never just to sell sportswear or cricket equipment.
From the beginning, our intention was to build a sports brand with a purpose. A brand that could operate commercially, create high-quality products, serve athletes and clubs, and still remain connected to something bigger than profit.
Sport has the power to change lives. It builds confidence, discipline, friendship, resilience and opportunity. For young people in particular, access to sport can shape character, create positive pathways and bring communities together. That belief sat at the heart of New Order Sports from day one.
We wanted to create a brand that understood the needs of players, coaches, parents and clubs. A brand that could offer technically advanced and affordable cricket gear, training apparel and performance wear for different levels of ability. But we also wanted to challenge the idea that business success should only be measured by what is kept. For us, success also had to be measured by what could be given back.
That is why New Order Sports was founded with the intention of operating as a social enterprise. Our purpose was to use commercial activity as a force for good, with the long-term aim of distributing net profit — or surplus — back into youth sports activities.
The concept was simple: every product sold should help move the brand forward, but the brand itself should help move young people forward too.
Youth sport needs support. Many clubs rely on volunteers. Many families face rising costs. Many talented young athletes struggle to access the right equipment, coaching, facilities or opportunities. We believe businesses connected to sport have a responsibility to recognise that reality and, where possible, contribute to the solution.
Our ambition has always been to support grassroots and youth sports by reinvesting surplus into activities that encourage participation, development and access. That might mean helping young people get involved in cricket, supporting local sports initiatives, contributing towards equipment, or helping create more opportunities for young athletes to train, play and grow.
New Order Sports exists because we believe performance and purpose can work together.
We care about product quality. We care about durability, comfort, movement and affordability. We care about creating sports gear that players can trust. But we also care about the wider impact of sport and the communities that make it possible.
A sports brand should understand the game beyond the product. It should understand the early morning training sessions, the volunteer coaches, the parents on the boundary, the young player saving up for their first proper bat, and the local club trying to keep opportunities open for the next generation.
That is the space New Order Sports was created to serve.
